Cosvox CarbonEcho Speaker

In pursuit of ultimate performance and system adaptability, Cosvox's X7 (mid low frequency), F7 (passive radiation), X12 (low frequency), and X18 speaker units are independently developed and handcrafted by the Cosvox team. In order to fully utilize the advantages of materials, all units are composed of a sandwich composite structure diaphragm consisting of two layers of dry carbon fibers and one layer of polymer damping material. By utilizing the high rigidity and lightweight characteristics of carbon fiber, combined with a magnetic circuit system consisting of ferrite and neodymium magnets, and supplemented with multiple pure copper short-circuit rings, the Cosvox CarbonEcho speaker always achieves a wider frequency response range, more stable structure, more precise vibration control, more active sound performance, and imperceptible distortion than traditional speakers. The middle damping layer provides excellent damping strength to the unit diaphragm, resulting in a much higher proportion of European harmonics than odd harmonics in the CarbonEcho unit, making the sound pleasant.

Cosvox AMT Array

Cosvox is not stingy with showcasing its technology, applying line array technology to the tweeter module. The AMT Array uses multiple Cosvox self-developed pneumatic tweeters to form the smallest unit of tweeter line array system, allowing the sound area to reach an incredible 24 inches. This also enables the AMT Array to achieve a proportional increase in sound pressure, with almost no compression within the effective working range. The maximum sound pressure level distortion at 115db under one meter listening conditions was measured to be less than 0.5% thd, and the high-frequency extension extended directly to 40kHz.

Cosvox AlumToneXperionce Technology

Whether it's Line Main, Point or Sub212, all the boxes are made of aluminum alloy CNC technology, carefully selected 6061 aviation aluminum, and connected with a large number of precision calculated Fibonacci curves. Not only does it create an elegant and sturdy appearance, but more importantly, it reduces diffraction effects to near zero, allowing sound waves from the speaker to propagate unobstructed and restore the sound field of the recording space, eliminating the interference of "box sound" and allowing the speaker diaphragm to produce clearer sound. The hard casing can not only withstand greater low-frequency energy and provide a diving listening experience, but also better protect the unit from relatively harsh commercial working environments.

Cosvox Physical Phase Alignment

Cosvox's physical phase alignment technology is achieved by arranging and calculating the spatial staggered positions of speakers with different parameters, completely aligning the phase in the listening area, greatly reducing the number of power divider components (Figure x), effectively reducing the consumption of power components, and achieving an electrical signal transmission and driving effect approximately equal to direct drive.

Cosvox superClassA+D amplification technology

All of Cosvox's designs are designed to serve music aesthetics. We use a receiver circuit with an ultra-high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 91dB at the input end to extract the signal without loss. For a 22dBu signal, an ultra-low THD+N of -120dB can be maintained at 1kHz. The primary circuit adopts the traditional A-class fully balanced voltage amplification mode to obtain finer and more accurate listening experience, while the back-end adopts D-class extremely low distortion current amplification to ensure that the unit can be fully driven. The combination of the two solidifies the advantages of Class A and Class D respectively, avoiding the stereotypical defects of both in traditional concepts. Truly achieving the ability to have both fish and bear paw. In addition, we also provide 5-speed gain adjustment with a span of 10dB and stepless high-frequency loudness adjustment, which solves the parameter compatibility differences caused by different front ends and spaces. And these technologies are standard on the 'solar eclipse' system.

Linkwitz Riley Filter Technology

The Line Sub212 uses an active Linkwitz Riley frequency divider filter with up to fourth-order attenuation slope. In other words, every octave frequency, the sound attenuates by 24 dB of energy, with an attenuation slope of -24 dB/Oct (Octave, meaning one octave interval). At the same time, throughout the entire audio frequency range (20Hz-20kHz), the Linkwitz Riley filter has a flat phase response, and the signal will not experience severe phase distortion after passing through the filter. This is difficult to achieve with passive power dividers.

Expensive high-quality frequency dividers and conductor materials

Just as the leather and wood of every Rolls Royce interior are carefully selected, in order to ensure that every listening experience leaves no regrets, Cosvox puts the utmost effort into every detail The entire series of Mondo Fu silver foil capacitors in the "Eclipse" system, even one inductor, is manually wound with expensive 6N high-purity copper foil. A large amount of 7N single crystal copper and 6N single crystal silver wire materials can be seen everywhere between various modules. This is Cosvox's definition and attitude towards HIEND.
