Acoustic artworks that follow the rules of creation
The gods created points, lines, and surfaces to form the known world, and we perfect its creation on top of it. As a high-end series of Cosvox, the "Eclipes Eclipse" series follows the acoustic spatial rules of real-world points, lines, and surfaces, creating active sound modules that cover the entire range of high, medium, and low tones. The Cosvox audio system is equipped with a high-power amplifier with ultra-low distortion, which is also independently developed. This allows the Cosvox audio system to maintain extremely low distortion even under the challenges of long distances, high sound pressure, and large dynamics, making the previously perceptible explicit sound waves more impactful, while the hidden details that are not easily manifested are revealed in detail. Based on the modular design concept, each speaker is the smallest unit of sound production. Through various combinations and combinations, the "Eclipides Eclipse" system can perfectly handle private HIEND listening, panoramic sound home theater, top recording studios, and other scenes.
Modular design, free addition and subtraction
The Eclipse series includes four products: the point sound source module "point", the line sound source modules "Line" and "Line Center", and the push-pull structure dual 12 inch subwoofer module "sub212". Players can freely build their own exclusive systems based on their spatial structure and listening needs. Each module of the "Eclipides Eclipse" system can be linked through a flexible "COSVOX Link". When the listening environment changes, players only need to add or remove modules in a timely manner, without having to start over to achieve perfect embedding of the listening scene.
Line array technology returns to the performance scene
When facing a super large listening environment, the sound system designed with a point sound source will face a situation where the sound pressure decays by 6dB for every doubling of the listening distance, resulting in turbidity and loss of details in the sound. In online array systems, this attenuation is only half that of point sound sources (3db). This gives the line array system the inherent advantage of long-distance transmission with low loss. Even in the face of a large space like a theater, the "Eclipides Eclipse" system can still be controlled through reasonable combinations.
Accurate pointing, fearless space
Thanks to the support of line array technology, the 'Eclipse' system has excellent sound directionality, allowing for precise sound localization and soundstage creation whether performing large-scale symphonic works or reproducing rock and jazz scenes. At the same time, due to the characteristics of the line array structure, it can avoid the majority of reflected sounds from ceilings and floors, and more direct sound allows recording details to be exposed, truly achieving the coexistence of HiFi and monitoring. It also greatly reduces players' dependence on the listening environment, eliminating the need for expensive acoustic construction and debugging.
Three dimensional frequency division architecture, ultimate signal authenticity
Since the birth of the audio industry, acoustic engineers around the world have been working tirelessly to reduce the loss of audio signals during transmission. Similarly, Cosvox is also doing its best in pursuing the path of signal "lossless". In order to completely solve the problem of signal loss caused by factor to analog conversion during the frequency division process. We have adopted the ASP active frequency division technology, which is only used in flagship products of a few top HIEND manufacturers, to replace the most common DSP frequency division in the market, and installed it on the Sub212 as the signal frequency division management center for the entire "Eclipes Eclipse" system. Subsequently, we will use a large number of luxurious passive analog dividers to provide analog signal support for the "Line", "Line Center", and "point" modules in the middle and high frequency parts that are more easily perceived by the human ear. In the low-frequency part that focuses more on spatial atmosphere and scene, we have added DSP modules to achieve management and spatial calibration of ultra-low frequencies. Through this complex three-dimensional frequency division architecture, the "Eclipides Eclipse" system has achieved perfect unity in high fidelity and scientificity.
